Delete your account

You can remove your RBApp account and personal data at any time. This page exists so you can do so without installing the app.
Tip: The fastest way is in-app, since your identity is already verified and we can act immediately. The email route is available for users who have lost access to their account.

1. Delete from inside the app (fastest)

  1. Open RBApp on your phone.
  2. Go to Profile → Settings → Account.
  3. Tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm with your password or biometric.
  5. You will receive a confirmation email when deletion is complete.

2. Delete by email (if you can’t access the app)

Email hello@ebunex.com from the email address on the account, with the subject line “Account deletion request”. Include:

  • Your full name on the account
  • The phone number or email used to sign up
  • Reason for deletion (optional, helps us improve)

We will verify the request through a one-time code sent to your account email or phone, then process the deletion within 30 days (typically within 7 days).

3. What gets deleted

  • Your profile (name, photo, bio, preferences)
  • Your account credentials and login tokens
  • Your in-app messages
  • Your reviews you posted (reviews on hosts will be anonymized)
  • Your saved payment methods (the underlying card stays with your bank)
  • Your KYC documents and biometric scans
  • Your search and browsing history
  • Your push tokens and marketing consents

4. What we are legally required to retain

Some records are kept in a restricted, access-controlled archive for the periods below, then permanently deleted:

  • Transaction records: 5 years (Singapore Income Tax Act, applicable VAT/GST regulations).
  • Anti-money-laundering records: 5 years from end of business relationship (MAS / FATF requirements).
  • Anonymized analytics: retained indefinitely, no longer linkable to you.
  • Records subject to an active legal hold: retained until the matter is closed.

5. Timeline

  • Day 0: request received, account immediately deactivated. You can no longer sign in or be contacted.
  • Day 1–7: active personal data deleted from production systems.
  • Day 30: deletion propagated to all backups.
  • After that: only the retention items above remain, in cold storage.
