Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the RBApp mobile application and rbapp.io website (the “Service”), operated by EBUNEX PRIVATE LIMITED (“RBApp”, “we”). By creating an account, you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 17 years old to create an account. Users under 18 must be supervised by a parent or legal guardian for any in-person experience.
  • You must provide accurate, current information and keep it updated.
  • You must not be on any sanctions list or barred from the Service by RBApp.

3. Your account

You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@ebunex.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Hosts

Hosts list cultural experiences (tours, food experiences, heritage walks, language exchanges, craft workshops, etc.). Before publishing, a host must:

  • Pass identity verification (KYC), including a liveness check.
  • Complete a video screening interview with RBApp’s trust team.
  • Hold any licences required by local law to operate guided tours, where applicable.
  • Maintain a minimum rating of 4.2/5 to remain on the platform.

Hosts are independent contractors, not employees of RBApp. RBApp is a marketplace facilitator and is not a party to the underlying contract between traveler and host.

5. Bookings & payments

  • All payments are processed in-app via Stripe and HitPay. RBApp does not accept off-platform payments. Doing so violates these Terms.
  • Funds are held in escrow until 24 hours after the experience start time, then released to the host (less RBApp’s service fee).
  • RBApp’s service fee is 15–20% of the listing price, disclosed at checkout.
  • Refunds and cancellations follow our published Refund Policy.
  • Currency conversion (if any) is performed by the payment processor at their prevailing rates.

6. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

  • Offer, solicit, or engage in any activity that violates local law, including illegal tour operations, smuggling, or unlicensed transport.
  • Offer, solicit, or engage in any adult-oriented service or content. RBApp is strictly a tourism and cultural-experience platform.
  • Harass, threaten, defame, or discriminate against any person.
  • Attempt to defraud users, manipulate ratings, or create fake accounts.
  • Circumvent the platform to take bookings off-app.
  • Scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Service.
  • Upload malware, viruses, or otherwise harmful code.

Violations may result in immediate account suspension, refund reversal, and where appropriate, referral to law enforcement.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit (photos, descriptions, reviews). You grant RBApp a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, display, and adapt that content as needed to operate and promote the Service.

You represent that you own or have the right to grant this licence, and that your content does not infringe third-party rights.

8. Disputes between users

If a dispute arises between a traveler and a host, contact RBApp support within 7 days of the experience date. We provide a mediation process and may, at our discretion, hold or refund escrowed funds while the matter is reviewed.

9. Suspension & termination

You may close your account at any time via the in-app deletion flow or our Account Deletion page. RBApp may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms or where required by law, with notice where reasonable.

10. Disclaimers & liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. RBApp is a marketplace and does not itself provide tours or experiences. Hosts are independent contractors; their conduct, safety record, and representations are their own.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RBApp’s total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid RBApp in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 100.

11. Governing law & venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), seat Singapore, in English.
